This month Cassie and I finally coordinated our schedules to discuss Caraval by Stephanie Garber for the Spines With Wines book club! Caraval was supposed to be our February book of the month, but we just couldn’t get it together for our liveshow until the first weekend of April. So we’ve decided to skip March (since it’s over already anyway) and we’ll be resuming with our April book of the month. You can view the full video below:
April Book of the Month:
This month Cassie and I met to discuss Windwitch by Susan Dennard for the Spines With Wines book club! It was a really fun one because we had opposite opinions on a lot of the story so you’ll get both points of view. You can view the full video below:

For our February book club, Cassie, Melissa and I chose to read The Love that Split the World by which is ta debut genre-bending novel by Emily Henry. This month’s episode is slightly belated due to how busy I’ve been recently. You may notice my fancy new background which hasn’t been organized just yet but I’m working on it! This was a really fun book to review, especially since we all generally like the book but we each gave it a different star rating. Let me know what you thought of The Love that Split the World if you read it and you can also find all of the links to Cassie and Melissa’s social media and blogs in the YouTube description bar!
For our January book club, Cassie, Melissa and I chose to read Truthwitch by Susan Dennard which is the first book in the Witchlands series and it was indeed the BEST choice. After HATING our last book Winterspell, it was a nice change of pace to spend time gushing about a new favorite of all of ours! You can also find all of the links to Cassie and Melissa’s social media and blogs in the YouTube description bar and I highly recommend following them because they’re pretty top notch people and I consider them to be my Threadsisters<3!
Yesterday Cassie, Melissa and I had our third episode of the Spines With Wines Book Club. For December’s book we wanted to choose something holiday themed but since we had all already read My True Love Gave to Me, Let it Snow, and I had read Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares, we decided to go with Winterspell by Claire Legrand which is a YA retelling of The Nutcracker. Unfortunately, none of us liked this book for very many reasons so this was a pretty interesting book club. I’ll also be posting a written review later this week.
I teamed up with Melissa and Cassie for a new book club that we’ve named Spines with Wines. This month we kicked it off by reading The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich because we wanted a creepy Halloween read. You can check out our live show below! Next month we’ll be reading Winter by Marissa Meyer which is the conclusion to The Lunar Chronicles series. We’ll be announcing the liveshow date over Twitter when we finalize our date and time.
